Senior Warden
Justin Robbins

Dedicated to the craft and the prosperity of the lodge, the Senior Warden assists the Worshipful Master in the governance of the lodge and the promotion of Masonic light.

Justin E. Robbins, Senior Warden

Brother Justin Robbins currently serves as Senior Warden of Palm Springs Lodge No. 693. His interest in Freemasonry began before he ever entered a Lodge room, during a difficult period for his family.

When Justin’s father-in-law, a Mason of more than 50 years, became seriously ill, Justin and his wife, Rachel, began spending their weekends at his home helping care for him. Weekend after weekend, they would arrive to find members of his father-in-law’s Lodge already there, checking on him, helping around the house, and making sure their Brother was cared for. Seeing that kind of Brotherhood firsthand made a lasting impression on Justin. It showed him that Freemasonry was much more than meetings, titles, and ritual. It was about men genuinely being there for one another when it mattered most. That experience ultimately inspired Justin to seek membership in the fraternity himself.

Justin began his Masonic journey at Hemet San Jacinto Lodge No. 338. He was initiated an Entered Apprentice in January 2023, passed to the degree of Fellow Craft in May, and raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on August 19, 2023.

Soon after being raised, Justin affiliated with Widows Sons Lodge No. 869, where he has served as Junior Steward, Marshal, and Prospect Manager. In 2024, he was honored by the Brethren as the Lodge’s Mason of the Year, an honor he considers one of the highlights of his Masonic journey.

Justin affiliated with Palm Springs Lodge No. 693 in February 2025 and quickly became involved in the Lodge. He served as Junior Warden before advancing to Senior Warden in 2026. In addition to his duties in the officer line, Justin has served on several Lodge committees and is involved with the Palm Springs Masonic Hall Association. In 2026, he was also appointed to the Grand Lodge of California’s Masonic Builders Committee, expanding his opportunity to serve the Craft beyond his local Lodges.

Professionally, Justin has spent more than 30 years in highway construction, maintenance, engineering, and public service. He currently serves as a Technical Engineering Unit Supervisor with the County of Riverside Transportation Department, overseeing traffic signal, pavement marking, and roadway sign operations.

Justin and his wife, Rachel, have been married for nearly 30 years and are proud parents and grandparents of five. Outside of Masonry and his professional life, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and riding motorcycles.

The example of Brotherhood that first drew Justin to Freemasonry continues to shape his approach to the Craft today. He believes Masonry challenges us to continually improve ourselves, serve others, preserve the traditions entrusted to us, and build genuine relationships with our Brothers.

As Senior Warden, Justin looks forward to continuing to serve the Brethren of Palm Springs Lodge and helping strengthen its fellowship, Masonic education, community involvement, and traditions. Above all, he hopes to help foster the same kind of Brotherhood that first inspired him to become a Mason: Brothers taking care of Brothers and being there for one another when it mattered most.
